PRESENTATION EVENING

At C&MCC, we are proud of our thriving youth section.
We currently run Under 15s, Under 13s, Under 11s + Under 9s teams - We also run regular coaching sessions during the season on Friday evenings (6pm - 7pm).
We have two UKCC Level 2 qualified coaches in Andy Long and Andy King and also six UKCC Level 1 qualified coaches in Rich Nichols, David Sutton, Ian Rosling, Ian Phipps, Dan Lovell and Graham Knight.
The safety and welfare of all youth players is the priority for everyone at C&MCC. Details of all Club Policies in relation to your child's safety can be found on the Club Policies Page. BEHAVIOUR
This year we have introduced the Junior/Parent Club Rules. Could we just ask you all to remind your child of these? We have had a few incidents reported, especially in regard to Item (2) of the Junior Rules - Respect team mates and opponents.
The Club expects all its players to be able to enjoy taking part in the coaching sessions and matches without encountering negative remarks from other players.
SUPERVISION OF YOUR CHILD(REN)
For the younger age groups (Under 7’s and Under 9’s) the Club require an appropriate adult to be available for each child. This means that should you leave the premises whilst your child is being coached, you must ensure that another adult is responsible for them. The coaches and volunteers cannot leave the other players to supervise toilet breaks etc.
SENIOR MATCHES
All fixtures for these are on the website. Please feel free to join us at any home or away match. You will see some of the coaches at various games, some of whom have been playing for the Club since they were in the youth section!
| ********* Players Subscriptions *********
We have decided to stop collecting £1 for each training session or match as this created more work for the coaches and youth set up. Instead we have adopted a one off fee for the year. We would appreciate this money as soon as possible once you have confirmed your child is going to be registered to the club. Players who have paid will have priority over those that have not. Please help us in this matter with prompt payment as we would rather spend time coaching your child than chasing money!

Under 11’s, Under 13’s and Under 15’s £20
These prices are per child and will incorporate non-playing family membership. If you have more than one child in your immediate family that is registered with us 10% will be deducted from the total amount to be paid. No weekly subs or match subs will then be payable for any youth team games or tournaments |
| UNDER 11s We have had 6 indoor training sessions so far this season and everyone has improved which is great to see.
What happens next.....
2 more indoor sessions at Mangostfield School
Monday 12th April and Monday 19th April 5.30 - 6.30
This will be using a hard ball in preparation for the season along with the boys / girls putting pads on (some for the first time) If they have equipment they can bring it along, if not the club will provide.

**** 1st Game **** Monday 26th April away to Frenchay Cricket Club
Their ground is next to the Golf Driving Range in Hambrook and we will meet there at 5.30. Players will need to be wearing cricket whites, which can be purchased from the sports shop in Emerson's Green if required - you can also visit our Club Shop via the link at the bottom of this page. Please let us know by Friday 9th April if your Child is available.
I would be greatful to confirm that you are happy for your Child to be registered to our club which will enable them to play in the games. I will ask you to sign a new registration form in due course, but for now, confirmation via email will suffice.
********* Training From May **********
Due to the number of children joining the club and the number of coaches available, it has been necessary to change the training date for Under 11's from Friday to Monday. We will aim to start at 6.00 or 6.30 and run the session for 60-90 mins - this will be confirmed. We are also looking at try to use the new ground which has an artificial wicket - all this needs to be confirmed, but one thing is definite - it will be Mondays.
